In this episode, I’m talking about why Black voices STILL matter.
Every year I’ve done the #BlackBlogsMatter / #BlackPodsMatter challenge, I get pushback for centering Black experiences—but let’s be clear, we are not the ones silencing ourselves. Our voices are being erased — yet we continue to resist, create, and thrive. Inspired by Toni Morrison’s powerful words, I’m using this episode to remind us all that now is the time to speak up and take action.
I challenge you—whether you’re Black or a non-Black person with an intersecting marginalized identity —to think about how you will use your voice during this season of reflection and resistance.
