In this solo episode, I kickoff the #RecoveringAfterRona series by talking about “The Great Resignation”.
The Great Resignation is what the media has named this tsunami of resignations that companies are seeing from people who do not want to return to traditional office work after a year of being remote. In this episode, I break down the reasons for why this is happening and what organizations can do to stop it from happening to them.
I also break down the upcoming schedule for the rest of the #RecoveringAfterRona series on my blog and podcast thru August 2021.

Great podcast! I agree with you about “loafers” but my leaders are pushing butt back in seats ASAP and the argument is because of needed collaboration and communication. We are a technology company so I’m like “what”?? I am still working on them to understand what employees are wanting these days. It’s a completely changed workforce since Rona.
It can be hard for leaders to understand and accept the benefits of remote working. While I hate what the Great Resignation is doing to industry, I hope it leads employers to hearing and responding to the needs & wants of workers.
