I first wrote about this back in 2018, and today, I’m bringing it back! Because the question isn’t just about passing on these shady opportunities—it’s about recognizing them in the first place … Are people knowingly stepping into situations that compromise their integrity, or are they being hoodwinked?

In this episode, I break down the history of the term “coon,” how it became one of the most insulting things Black people say to each other, and how it relates to today’s discussion. Then, I share FIVE questions to help you determine whether an opportunity is real – or just an opporCOONity in disguise. Recognizing the difference can help us avoid being played and stay aligned with our values.
